4754 was built by British Railways at their York Works in 1954. It is a Tourist Second Open (TSO) coach - seating up to 64 people in groups of 4 around tables. It arrived at AVR in April 2003 on long term loan from the Army and required some minor works to be done on it before it could enter passenger service. In 2009, the Army requested the coach be returned to them and so the coach left AVR in March of that year.
The coach was later sold by the Army and it now resides at the Bluebell Railway in West Sussex.
